Located about 20 km’s south of Downtown Ottawa, Greely is a rapidly growing village in rural Ottawa. The Greely area has an immediate population of approximately 10,000 residents. Additionally, there are close to 50,000 residents in the surrounding area. Greely has a growing and very well-established residential community but lacks the shopping and services of similar smaller towns in the Ottawa area. For this reason, Greely residents must drive further from their residences for shopping and amenities. This development space offers an alternative to driving into the City for Greely and surrounding area residents. The average household income of the residents of Greely is approximately $120,000, well above the average for Ottawa ($86,848).
